The Control Panel Shop

Barrett Electric operates The Panel Shop. The Panel Shop is an Underwriters Laboratories certified Industrial Control Panel assembly shop. All of our assembled panels bear the UL 508A mark; assembled, inspected and certified under the supervision of UL inspectors. We build industrial control panels for the Water/Waste Water industry, as well as for our industrial clients. Panels can be manufactured from the owners engineered plans, or designed by us to the owner's specification and requirements.

The Panel Shop is a natural extension of the electrical services that we have offered for years, quality field service for industrial electrical systems. We have been providing field service for VFD's, PLC's and HMI's, electric motors, and electrical control systems for over 20 years. Forest products, aggregates, municipal water and waste water, printing, manufacturing, and HVAC/Boiler control. We have the knowledge and partners to serve you. Try us.

Panels can be simple or complex. Variable frequency drives preprogrammed for the end user, PLC controls programmed by us or by the end user, HMI and SCADA systems with radio telemetry, DH485, Modbus, Ethernet or other communication types are options that we support. If the controls need to be integrated into existing systems, we will assist with that as well.

The Panel Shop advantage is field service and commissioning. We are not limited to panel build or assembly. We will field design and provide field commissioning service for all our products, reducing the difficulty that arises from multiple trades becoming involved in a technical portion of a job. We will help you design the job, we will build the job, and we will come out on site and help you during the start up and commissioning portion of the job. After commissioning, we are your service company, always available for additional field service through our industrial controls division.
